Refund Policy

14 days, no questions asked

If Pro is not right for you, you can get a full refund within 14 days of buying it on the web. You do not need to give a reason.

To ask for one, reply to your purchase receipt email, use the order page Lemon Squeezy sent you, or write to support@stashsum.com with the email address you bought with. Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record, returns the payment to your original payment method; how long it takes to appear depends on your bank.

After 14 days we may still refund at our discretion, for example when the app did not work for you and we could not fix it.

What a refund does

You can ask for it in the app (Settings, Pro, Refund) during the 14 days, or as above. When the refund goes through:

• Pro ends on every device that uses this purchase: the device you activated the key on, and the devices you added to its sync groups. Each one finds out the next time it is online and opens the app.
• Sync stops, and the encrypted copies of your data on our server that this purchase created are deleted.
• Your data on your devices is not touched: every ledger stays, readable, editable and exportable. Without Pro you cannot create another ledger or turn sync on again.
• The license key no longer works.

App Store and Google Play

Purchases made in the App Store are refunded by Apple under its own process: the iPhone app opens Apple's refund request (Settings, Pro, Request a refund), and Apple decides. Purchases made in Google Play can be refunded from the Android app (Settings, Pro, Refund) during the 14 days, as above; after that, Google Play's own refund process applies. When a store refund goes through, it does what is described above.

Your statutory rights

This policy adds to, and does not limit, any right you have under the law where you live, such as the right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
